Elfed High School are celebrating unprecedented successes in this year’s GCSE results with record breaking results. Outcomes were up in all areas and everyone involved at the school is absolutely delighted.

Headteacher, Mr Alistair Stubbs stated “We’ve had successful results in previous years but this year’s outcomes certainly have the ‘wow factor’. The students are absolutely delighted and we’ve had an amazing morning celebrating their successes. They have worked so hard during their time at Elfed High School and deserve everything that they have achieved. We have been so proud of the skills that they have developed over the last few years and now they have the academic achievements that will allow them to thrive in the future. I’d like to thank all staff at Elfed High School for their hard work and dedication. We are delighted with the outcomes achieved in every single subject. We are very fortunate to have such a supportive community here in Buckley and the role that the parents/carers and wider community have played in these successes cannot be underestimated. The town is thriving and the people of Buckley should be very proud of what these students have achieved.”

“We are normally in a position where we recognise outstanding individual performances at this point of the year but we have so many pupils this year achieving at the highest level across all subjects that this is not possible. They have truly been an outstanding cohort and their achievements will continue to inspire future years to come”.
