Students from Years 10 and 11 were given the chance to take part in a very informative apprenticeship workshop.

A representative from Airbus UK spoke to the learners to discuss many things, including craft apprenticeships for school leavers, degree-level apprenticeships  as well as possible finance and business apprenticeships within the company.

He talked them through the reality of being paid to learn, all the qualifications they would need and how the application process works  as well as giving them hints and tips for interviews.

He also gave them scenarios on how they would get to work and what they would do if their mode of transport was unavailable, before stressing how important attendance to their college placement was if they wanted to stay employed with the company.

The students learnt from the helpful advice they received. Da iawn! Well done to all involved.
