STAFF and students at Elfed High School loved opening the doors to the public for their Open Evening event!

Teachers and students spent an evening welcoming guests to different departments for Elfed High School’s annual event.  Theatr Elfed was packed for the Headteacher’s Presentation with every chair taken by families eager to hear about learning at Elfed High School.

Visitors were very impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and enjoyed looking around the school and getting involved in all of the activities.

Visitors to the school were able to pop into department areas and collect stickers for their learning passports through taking part in different activities. Some of the activities that guests could participate in included: making animations and listen to stories in the English Department, testing out their strength in the P.E. Department and getting involved in lots of different fun and exciting experiments in the Science Department.

Rosemary Jones, Headteacher, said “It was lovely that so many families came to enjoy the evening, all looking forward to joining us here at Elfed next September and beyond.

Diolch yn fawr! Thank you very much to all of our student helpers and staff who gave up their evening to support this event.”
